Ichimoku Stock APH Trade Setup, Option 3-31-10

Posted on March 31st, 2010 by

APH has ESTIMATED date earnings of 4-20-2010.    Volatility for the options for this stock will be increasing soon.    Price is right around the Kijun Sen and Tenkan Sen on the weekly chart and it still looks healthy in regards to going bullish.   Risk is very low.

If you look at options, we can look July 50 calls for around 0.40/contract.   This is very low risk.  See chart below for the “greek data” for the options.  Right now, delta is 53.15 so for every dollar move, we will make 53.15 which is over 100% cost of the option.  Also, since volatility is low and with earnings coming soon, volatility should increase.   Therefore, we can make money off vega which is 10.81.   This is over 20%+ of the option price.

Future Ichimoku Cotton Entry Setup 3-31-10

Posted on March 31st, 2010 by

Cotton is setting up for the seasonal bearish movement that occurs typically until May 7.   We are going to setup a trade on the daily chart.   This is a countertrend based on the weekly chart since price is still above the Kumo cloud.   If you do not feel comfortable taking a trade against the weekly trend, do not setup the trade.  This trade is for the aggressive trader, not an aggressive trader.

CADJPY Ichimoku 240m Chart: Currency Trade Update

Posted on March 31st, 2010 by

CADJPY has moved up nicely.   We are trading this currency pair to move into a long term trade by “graduating” it to the daily timeframe.  Right now, we are trading it on the 240 minute.   After 150 pip profit, we will move everything to the daily chart.    The stop is going to be the Kijun Sen minus a buffer.   You can see my current stop on the chart below.  If you are conservative and NOT looking to move it to the daily timeframe, your buffer will be a lot less than what I have at this time.

AUDNZD Trade Update Ichimoku Analysis: 3-17-10

Posted on March 17th, 2010 by

Unfortuately, my post last night did not get published.  Here is what I wrote.   We got within 3 pips from our T2 target.   For the conservative people, you will exit 100% of your positions.   For the aggressive people, you will exit 75% of your positions and the remaining 25%, you will stay in the trade with the Kijun Sen with a buffer as a stop.    As of right now, the KS is at 1.2960 so with a 20 pip buffer, your stop is 1.2980.

Ichimoku CADJPY Currency 240m: Long Term Entry Setup

Posted on March 16th, 2010 by

The CADJPY Currency typically goes up “seasonally” around this time of the year.   However, this does not mean the pattern will be repeated this year at all.   It indicates there is a high probability of repeating but not 100% for sure it will happen.

We are going to look at the 240 minute chart of CADJPY to setup for a bullish entry position which we will eventually move it to the daily timeframe for a very long term trade.   We are entering on the 240 minute to keep our risk low at this time.    The daily and the weekly are both bullish according to the Ichimoku indicators.

Below is the chart setup.
